: Opa Shelling is about finding the seashells on the beaches. Opa is Grandpa in Dutch. Opa has been shelling for many years and has found truck loads of shells. Ope covers the beaches from Texas, to Maine. Most of the beaches are in Florida and the Carolinas. No live shells have been taken, all local and state laws have been followed. When picking up seashells please check with Federal, State, County, local, and beach laws for the area you are combing at that time. Each Beach and state have different laws. Federals laws will also apply if you are are federal lands.
